This afternoon when I was working in Penneys, an old women about 70 years of age came to me and ask me aomething. Here is our conversation.
W: Excuse me!
H: Yeah?
W: Can I open the package to see how big is the shirt?
H: Of course.
W: Sorry for the mess.
H: You are ok, I wil tidy after you.
There were four different styles of shirts on the table, so she ask me again.
W: Which one do you think I should go with?
H: I suppose it depends on the color of your trousers.
W: Yeah, I will go with this, thank you. Your English is quite good, which part of the world you are from?
H: I am from Taiwan.
W: Oh, Thailand. There was the tsunami years ago and my cousins were on holiday, thanks God they were ok.
H: I am from Taiwan, not Thailand. They are different countries.
W: Oh yeah? Where is Taiwan?
H: It's a small island by China, it's small but there are 23 million people living on it.
W: Oh...( She had no idea what I was talking about). Thanks for your help.
H: You are welcome.(Then I walked away)
For those who don't know where Taiwan is, they should take another geography class.
For all the Taiwanese living in a foreign country, LET THE WORLD KNOW WE ARE FROM TAIWAN.

my hobby is irish~
i will tell them loudly
"i m from TAIWAN" ^O^
Vanessa
Vanessa
Vanessa
